Electrical Part for Forklifts

Forklift Electrical Parts - Forklifts may be particularly labeled to be used in unsafe places. A labeled forklift indicates the design has met the lowest requirements of ANSI/UL 558 utilized for engine powered forklifts or ANSI/UL 583 used for electric lift trucks for the type of label attached.

Applications for labeled lift trucks can be found in National Fire Protection Association NFPA 505 - Powered Industrial forklifts including: Areas or Use, Maintenance and Operation, and Type Designations. Consult your local insurance provider and Fire Marshall for more information concerning the approved uses of industrial powered forklifts in your application.

If the particular lift truck meets the outlined criteria, labels may be attached. A labeled forklift will show the type of designation located on the nameplate and would have a properly corresponding label placed.
